This policy covers 1431 Main, a private app used only by the household. It was last updated on 17 October 2026.
With the Google account of the person who owns the thermostats, the app reads Nest thermostat information that person chooses to share. That includes room temperature, humidity, mode, setpoint, and whether the heat is on.
Those readings are kept on a computer in the home. They are used only to show the household its own thermostats.
The app does not sell information, show ads, or share thermostat readings with other companies or other people. It is not offered to the public.
You can remove the app’s access at any time from Google Account permissions or from Nest partner connections. After that, the app can no longer read the thermostats.
